My name is Gio and I am a fun-loving individual who has an unyielding fascination with people. It’s the reason why I studied and obtained two Bachelor’s degrees at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA): one in Psychology, the other in Sociology. (GO BRUINS!) You see, observing, predicting, and learning about individuals are interesting, but seeing how they behave in groups is equally important. This is where the blog comes in. “Identity Revealed” is a culmination of all things that make us human. What we choose, how we behave, what we say–the good and the bad–it’s our human identities being revealed.
This blog will cover a wide array of things that we do and the issues of our time. And most important of all because this blog is as much about you as it is about me, your thoughts. opinions, and comments are greatly appreciated.
Some people have this misconception that I’m a trouble maker and that I like to start fights. Perhaps it’s my shaved head and my body type and the stereotypes that surround it all. But in reality, I’m a pretty lovable guy who loves everyone. The only fights I participate in are ones against injustices.
Currently, I blog from Los Angeles, one of the world’s most influential cities. It’s quite a fitting place to study people as it is a highly populated city and area filled with diverse groups of people. As a post grad, I am currently working for a non-profit organization called Freedom and Fashion. We try to educate people about social justices issues (e.g., human and sex trafficking) through an artistic medium such as fashion. And I am also one of the chapter advisors of Alpha Gamma Omega fraternity at UCLA.
I am no superhero, but that’s my identity revealed. What’s yours?

I’m am not the house I live in/I’m not the car I drive
I’m not the job I work/ You can’t define my worth”
